Exposing Muybridge
Thanks much to Matt McLaughlin for alerting me to this new movie about one of the earliest & most influential photographers, Eadweard Muybridge (yes, it’s an odd spelling…gotta read about his unique life story to understand!) Muybridge was active in the late 1800’s, and is primarily known for being the first to develop photographic processes that were able to freeze & capture motion. A film has been made about his life and is being screened around the world & is also available on some streaming platforms.
